A Singapore family funeral service built on trust.
Boon Huat Funeral Services was founded with one purpose: to give Singapore families a calm, capable hand to hold when they need it most. We are a NEA-licensed funeral director providing full-service funeral arrangements across all traditions: Buddhist, Taoist, Christian, Catholic, and non-religious.
What guides us
Funeral work is among the most intimate a person can do. We enter families at their lowest point, sometimes at 2am, sometimes in the middle of a crisis, and we carry responsibility for one of the most significant moments in their lives.
We built Boon Huat on three commitments that we hold to in every arrangement:
Transparency in pricing
We provide an itemised quotation before any work begins. Every charge is explained. There are no hidden fees added at a difficult moment.
Respect for tradition
We coordinate across Buddhist, Taoist, Christian, and Catholic rites with equal care. We work with experienced monks, priests, and pastors and handle each tradition with proper reverence.
Calm in a crisis
When families call us, they are frightened and grief-stricken. Our role is to be steady: ask the right questions quietly, explain the next steps clearly, and move quickly so the family does not have to.
NEA Licensed
Licensed by the National Environment Agency of Singapore to provide funeral directing services. NEA regulates all licensed funeral directors in Singapore.
Available 24 hours a day
Our team is on call at all hours. There is no after-hours fee for calling at night or on a public holiday.
Island-wide service
We serve families across all Singapore districts: HDB estates, condominiums, landed homes, and hospitals island-wide.
All traditions
We coordinate Buddhist, Taoist, Christian, Catholic, and non-religious arrangements with equal competence.
Funeral directors in Singapore are regulated by the National Environment Agency (NEA). Only NEA-licensed firms may legally provide funeral directing services.
A note on pricing: We know that funeral costs are a source of anxiety for many families, especially at an already difficult time. Our commitment is to provide a complete, honest quotation before any arrangement begins. There will be no surprises when the invoice arrives.
What families can expect from us
01
A calm first call
When you call us at any hour, you will speak with a member of our team, not a call centre. We will ask a few questions and explain your immediate next steps clearly.
02
One coordinator, start to finish
One person manages your arrangement from first call to final rites. You will always know who to call and will not be passed between departments.
03
Full logistical handling
We manage permits, crematorium scheduling, HDB void deck applications, monk or priest coordination, and all third-party bookings. The family focuses on being together.
04
Itemised quotation upfront
Before we begin any work, we provide a written quotation that itemises every cost. Nothing is added without discussion.
05
Respectful handling
The deceased is handled with the same dignity and care we would extend to our own family. We take that responsibility seriously at every stage.
06
Post-funeral support
Our support does not end at the crematorium. We help with columbarium applications, outstanding documentation, and any questions in the days that follow.
Arrangements we provide
Buddhist Funerals
Monk chanting, merit-transfer ceremonies, altar setup, and columbarium guidance.
Taoist Funerals

Christian & Catholic
Pastor or priest coordination, hymns, scripture readings, and memorial services.
Direct Cremation
Simple, dignified cremation without a wake. Clear pricing from $1,500.
